Desirable

What you'll do

As a Principal Electrical Design Engineer at SpaceX, you will take ownership of the hardware lifecycle for the Starlink project, ensuring that all components meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will lead the design and development of electronic systems, from initial concept through to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of electrical, mechanical, and software components. Your responsibilities will include system design, schematic capture, and overseeing PCB layout, ensuring that all designs adhere to best practices and industry standards. You will also be involved in hardware troubleshooting, working closely with the testing team to identify and resolve issues that arise during the development process. Additionally, you will drive requirements for the underlying silicon, ensuring that the hardware meets the performance needs of the Starlink system. Your role will be pivotal in advancing the capabilities of the Starlink constellation, contributing to the mission of providing fast, reliable internet to users around the world.
