Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and developing hardware systems. You are familiar with the entire life-cycle of hardware, from system design and schematic capture to PCB layout oversight. Your expertise includes working with RF devices and power electronics, and you have a solid understanding of both analog and digital communications. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex engineering challenges that require a multidisciplinary approach.
Desirable
Experience with satellite systems or broadband technologies is a plus. Familiarity with thermal analysis and mechanical integration will enhance your contributions to the team. You are detail-oriented and possess strong troubleshooting skills, enabling you to identify and resolve hardware issues effectively.
What you'll do
As an Electrical Design Engineer at SpaceX, you will take ownership of the hardware that enables connectivity for Starlink. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing electrical systems that integrate seamlessly with mechanical and software components. You will work on high-speed digital communications and ensure that all systems meet performance and reliability standards. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive requirements for the underlying silicon and complete product.
