You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in hardware design and development for complex systems. You are detail-oriented and thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Desirable

Experience with satellite systems or telecommunications is a plus, as is familiarity with thermal analysis and network system integration. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable troubleshooting hardware issues as they arise. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be invaluable in this role.

What you'll do

As a Hardware Design Engineer for SpaceX's Starlink project, you will take ownership of the entire life-cycle of hardware development, from initial design through to testing and deployment. You will collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure that the hardware meets all necessary specifications and requirements. Your responsibilities will include system design, schematic capture, and overseeing PCB layout to ensure that all components function seamlessly together. You will also engage in hardware troubleshooting, identifying and resolving issues that may arise during testing phases. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of Starlink's satellite technology, enabling fast and reliable internet access for users worldwide.

You will be involved in driving requirements for the underlying silicon and ensuring that all hardware components integrate effectively with software systems. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical engineering and satellite technology, applying this knowledge to enhance the performance and reliability of Starlink's systems. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of talented engineers who share your passion for innovation and exploration.
