Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering with a focus on mechanical systems and structures — your experience allows you to address complex issues that arise during launch pad operations. You are familiar with utilizing FEM software such as ANSYS and FEMAP, and you can perform rigorous hand calculations to support your engineering decisions. Your ability to work collaboratively with a skilled technician workforce is essential, as you will direct troubleshooting and maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency.

You possess a creative mindset that enables you to develop innovative solutions for maximizing efficiency without compromising safety or reliability. Your engineering intuition is complemented by a thorough understanding of launch pad ground support equipment, and you are committed to ensuring all systems are properly inspected, configured, and tested to meet Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy interface requirements.

What you'll do

As a Senior Field Operations Engineer, you will serve as the responsible engineer for multiple launch pad mechanical systems and structures.
