What you'll do

As a Senior Launch Engineer, you will serve as the responsible engineer for multiple launch pad mechanical systems and structures, ensuring that all aspects of the launch pad operations are executed flawlessly. You will utilize FEM software to facilitate design and issue disposition, working closely with a skilled technician workforce to carry out troubleshooting and maintenance activities. Your role will involve addressing complex structural and mechanical issues, leveraging your engineering intuition and thorough calculations to provide effective solutions.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of operational procedures that enhance the efficiency of launch pad operations. This includes preparing the pads for launch, ensuring that all ground support equipment is configured and tested to meet the stringent requirements of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the launch preparation process, ensuring that safety and reliability are always prioritized.

Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior engineers and technicians, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
