What you'll do

As a GNC Engineer on the Beam Planning team, you will develop highly reliable and performant GNC algorithms and flight software. Your role involves conducting analyses and writing GNC software that meets various design requirements. You will build software tools and create scenarios to analyze system performance, ensuring that the payloads operate optimally in various conditions. You will collaborate with engineers from different disciplines, contributing to the initial conception and on-orbit operation of payloads. Your work will directly impact the success of national security efforts through the Starshield program, leveraging SpaceX's advanced technologies. You will also participate in hardware design discussions, providing insights that drive future developments in spacecraft systems.
