Job Description

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1+ years of experience with structures, avionics, propulsion, or automotive hardware installation. You may also have a certificate from an accredited trade school or program. Your hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and avionics integration makes you a strong candidate for this role.

You are comfortable using various mechanical tools without instruction and have experience with precision calibrated tools, including automated and manual torque wrenches. You understand the importance of following procedures, specifications, and test instructions to ensure product quality and conformance to specifications.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with production engineers to develop and document activities. Your attention to detail ensures that all production services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner. You are proactive in troubleshooting hardware issues in real-time and providing feedback to eliminate repeat issues.

What you'll do

As an Integration Technician, you will stage, set up, assemble, test, and install flight hardware for the Starshield project. Your role will involve hands-on operations with both large and small mechanical assemblies, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to established procedures. You will collaborate with production engineers to develop and document activities, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the work environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring product quality and conformance to specifications, performing test and repair activities as needed. Your ability to work with precision tools will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality in hardware assembly and integration. You will also support troubleshooting of hardware issues in real-time, providing valuable feedback to help eliminate repeat issues and improve processes.
