You have a proven track record of leading complex programs in a technical environment β€” your experience includes building and managing teams that deliver high-quality hardware through volume production and flight. You thrive in fast-paced settings and are adept at driving multiple active programs simultaneously, ensuring that architectural decisions are sound and execution timelines are met.

Your leadership style fosters a strong engineering culture where team members are encouraged to take healthy risks and present their best ideas. You are committed to coaching and developing future leaders, helping them navigate the challenges of running programs and leading teams effectively.

You possess a deep understanding of technical roadmaps and are skilled at developing plans that enhance your engineering team’s core capabilities while progressing the portfolio of Special Programs missions. You are comfortable diving into the most pressing issues with your team, ensuring that critical program threats receive the attention they deserve.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace or defense sectors would be a significant advantage, as would familiarity with advanced technologies that support national security missions. A background in project management methodologies and tools will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and manage a team dedicated to delivering spacecraft hardware through volume production and flight. You will drive multiple active programs, ensuring that good architectural decisions are made and that execution timelines are appropriately met. Your ability to remove roadblocks quickly will be crucial in maintaining rapid progress.

You will develop and maintain a technical roadmap that grows the engineering team’s core capabilities and progresses the portfolio of Special Programs missions. Your leadership will establish a strong engineering culture where individuals are willing to take healthy risks, and the best ideas are presented and win.

You will also be responsible for pulling together strong resource plans that ensure program success and inform credible hiring needs. Developing accurate sales forecasts and achieving revenue milestones on time will be part of your responsibilities, as will preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
