You are familiar with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and have a track record of implementing predictive maintenance tools to enhance equipment reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with development engineering teams to ensure maintenance efficiency is integrated into project designs.

What you'll do

As a Maintenance Engineer for SpaceX's Starlink program, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for both planned and unplanned repairs, modifications, and upgrades of production equipment. You will take end-to-end ownership of equipment improvement projects, guiding them from concept through design and implementation. Your role will involve troubleshooting complex machinery problems and providing technical guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure quick resolution of equipment failures.

You will perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues affecting equipment performance and implement corrective measures to address these gaps. Collaborating with development engineering teams, you will propose design adjustments that enhance reliability and maintenance efficiency from the outset of projects. Your leadership will be crucial in utilizing CMMS effectively to track maintenance activities and improve operational workflows.

In addition, you will develop and execute complex improvement projects aimed at maximizing production equipment availability. Your contributions will play a key role in enabling the Starlink program to achieve its ambitious goals. You will also be involved in implementing predictive tools such as vibration analysis to anticipate equipment failures before they occur, ensuring a seamless production process.
