Who you are

You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and possess 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in consumer hardware. You are proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, enabling you to create detailed designs and prototypes. Your strong analytical skills allow you to solve complex engineering problems effectively, and you have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all designs meet high standards of quality and functionality. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market. Desirable

Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes and an understanding of materials science would be advantageous. Familiarity with testing and validation processes for consumer electronics is also a plus. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as the industry evolves.

What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for designing and developing consumer hardware for the Starlink project.
