What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for detailing electrical schematics in collaboration with automation and controls engineers, ensuring that the designs meet the necessary specifications for the Starship launch pad. You will perform conduit fill calculations and initial sizing of conveyances, which are critical for the functionality of the launch systems. Creating CAD models and drawings of conduits, control panels, and bracketry will be a significant part of your daily tasks, allowing you to apply your design skills in a practical setting. You will also conduct basic structural analysis to ensure that your designs are robust enough to withstand the demanding conditions of a launch pad environment. Your work will involve translating designs into actionable plans for installation in the field, requiring strong communication and project management skills.
