You are a recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. What you'll do
As a New Graduate Engineer in Propulsion, you will be responsible for developing fluid systems that are crucial for the performance of SpaceX's Starship and Super Heavy vehicles. Your role will involve sizing vehicle fluid systems and transforming system requirements into hardware concepts. You will engage in detailed mechanical design, creating original CAD models and prints that meet the specifications of high-performance interplanetary vehicles.
You will perform structural analysis of parts and components to ensure their survivability under various conditions. Your work will include executing design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency, ensuring that the systems you design can be built effectively and reliably. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to drive the manufacturing and build flow of parts and systems, gaining hands-on experience in the process.
