Who you are
You have experience in inventory management and a strong analytical mindset — you understand the importance of accurate data in supply chain processes and have a keen eye for detail. You are capable of providing direction to inventory personnel and resolving systematic issues effectively. Your ability to interface with various departments, including engineering and procurement, allows you to contribute to the overall efficiency of the inventory control process.
You are proactive in identifying and addressing inventory discrepancies — whether it's negative inventory, duplicate locations, or inaccurate quantities, you take the initiative to improve data integrity. Your experience includes conducting audits to validate inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with storage requirements. You are also skilled in training inventory personnel, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability within the team.
What you'll do
As an Inventory Control Analyst at SpaceX, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain process at the Starlink Facility. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing inventory location reports to enhance data integrity and providing guidance to inventory personnel in their daily operations. You will collaborate with engineering teams to address stagnant and obsolete inventory, ensuring that all materials are utilized effectively.
You will work closely with process planning to maintain accurate unit of measure issues and eliminate inventory discrepancies. Your role will involve performing random audits to validate shelf-life storage and inventory accuracy, as well as overseeing the kit auditing process. By interfacing with traffic, quality control, and procurement teams, you will help streamline operations and support the mission of SpaceX in delivering low-latency broadband internet globally.
