Who you are
You are a motivated and proactive engineer with extensive experience in ASIC design and development. You have a strong background in embedded systems and are intellectually curious about advancing technology for space applications. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including systems, firmware, architecture, and product engineering.
You possess a deep understanding of design for test (DFT) methodologies and have successfully implemented these in previous projects. Your technical expertise is complemented by excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex challenges in the development of cutting-edge technologies. You are passionate about leveraging your skills to contribute to innovative projects that have a global impact.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing next-generation ASICs that will be deployed in both space and ground infrastructures. You will collaborate with various teams to design, build, and test these chips, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of connectivity in challenging environments. Your work will directly contribute to the performance and capabilities of SpaceX's Starlink system, which aims to provide reliable internet access to users worldwide.
You will lead efforts in DFT implementation, ensuring that the ASICs are designed for optimal testability and reliability. This includes defining test strategies, developing test plans, and working closely with validation teams to ensure successful deployment.
