What you'll do

As a Quality Specialist at SpaceX, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products developed for Starlink Aviation. You will review and approve specifications, manufacturing bills of materials, and engineering manuals to ensure they align with quality objectives and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining actions to improve key quality metrics, such as first pass yield and nonconformance trends.

You will work closely with technicians, inspectors, and manufacturing engineers to identify quality issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Balancing your time between the shop floor and administrative tasks, you will ensure that quality standards are met throughout the production process. Your insights will help shape the quality assurance strategies employed by the team, driving improvements in product quality and reliability.

You will also collaborate with hardware reliability engineers and production management to address any quality escapes and implement corrective actions.
