Who you are

You have a strong background in quality assurance, ideally with experience in aerospace or technology sectors. You understand the importance of regulatory compliance and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that specifications and documentation meet quality objectives. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including technicians and engineers, allows you to identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives effectively.

You are proactive in developing and implementing actions to improve key quality metrics, such as first pass yield and nonconformance trends. Your analytical skills enable you to assess quality escapes and devise strategies to mitigate them. You thrive in environments where you can balance hands-on work on the shop floor with strategic oversight, ensuring that quality standards are upheld throughout the manufacturing process.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate quality objectives and collaborate with various stakeholders. Your experience in reviewing and approving manufacturing bills of materials and engineering manuals ensures that all documentation is accurate and complete. You are committed to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within your team and the broader organization.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace industry or with satellite technology would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with quality management systems and tools for tracking quality metrics can enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in engineering or manufacturing processes will also be beneficial as you work closely with design and production teams.

What you'll do

As a Quality Specialist at SpaceX, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products developed for Starlink Aviation.
