You have a strong background in RF system design and software development, with experience in programming languages such as Python, C, and C++. You are familiar with Linux environments and have a solid understanding of embedded systems. Your collaborative mindset allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including RF engineers, DSP engineers, and hardware engineers.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable tackling complex problems. Your ability to research and implement novel solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems sets you apart. You are detail-oriented and have experience designing, building, and validating RF test benches, ensuring high-quality performance of custom RF designs.
What you'll do
As an RF Software Engineer on the Starshield team, you will drive program-level decisions on RF system designs, contributing to the development of advanced technologies that support US National Security. You will research and implement innovative solutions for satellite RF systems, focusing on communications and remote sensing capabilities. Your role will involve designing, building, and automating RF test benches for full characterization of custom RF designs, utilizing tools such as vector network analyzers (VNA) and spectrum analyzers.
You will collaborate closely with a team of engineers to iterate rapidly from design to operational capability, ensuring that the RF systems meet the rigorous demands of government applications. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of SpaceX's Starshield program, leveraging the company's cutting-edge Starlink technology.
