Who you are
You have a strong background in RF engineering, with experience in designing and validating RF systems for satellite communications. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with hardware, FPGA, and software engineers to drive program-level decisions on RF system designs. Your problem-solving skills enable you to research novel solutions for unique large-scale satellite RF systems, ensuring that you contribute effectively to the teamβs goals.
You possess a solid understanding of the full life cycle support of RF hardware, including PCBA board testing and defect detection. Your experience allows you to navigate complex engineering challenges, and you are comfortable working in fast-paced environments where rapid iteration is key. You are passionate about contributing to projects that support national security and are excited about the potential of space exploration.
What you'll do
As an RF Engineer on the Starshield team, you will be responsible for driving program-level decisions on RF system designs. You will research and develop innovative solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems, collaborating closely with a diverse team of engineers. Your role will involve designing and validating RF systems, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of government applications.
You will engage in the full life cycle support of RF hardware, from initial design through testing and validation. This includes conducting PCBA board testing and defect detection, as well as performing full functional testing of assembled systems. Your contributions will be critical in advancing SpaceXβs mission to enable human life on Mars through innovative technology.
