Who you are
You have a strong background in hardware reliability engineering, with experience in detailed hardware bring-up, characterization, and qualification testing. You demonstrate extreme ownership and are committed to driving improvements in product reliability through rigorous testing and process enhancements. Your ability to think at a system level allows you to ensure that designs are viable and meet the necessary standards for government use.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at solving previously unsolved or unknown problems. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring that all aspects of the hardware life cycle are considered from production to orbit. You possess a keen understanding of the challenges involved in developing technologies for national security efforts, particularly in the context of earth observation and communications.
What you'll do
As an RF Hardware Reliability Engineer on the Starshield team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough hardware testing and validation to ensure reliability throughout the product's life cycle. You will collaborate closely with various teams to identify and implement improvements to processes and controls. Your role will involve rigorous exploration of solutions to complex engineering challenges, contributing to the mission of enabling human life on Mars through innovative technology.
You will engage in detailed analysis and testing of hardware components, ensuring that they meet the stringent requirements for government applications.
