SpaceX is hiring a Security Officer 3 to ensure the safety and security of its operations. You'll be responsible for patrolling properties, conducting risk assessments, and mentoring other security personnel. This role requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-tech environment.

Who you are
You are a dedicated security professional with a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. You maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, and you are committed to upholding security protocols and regulations. Your experience includes planning and executing security support for operations, as well as conducting advanced training for fellow security officers. You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to conduct thorough research and analysis in support of security missions. You are also adept at mentoring others, helping them to identify and report suspicious behavior effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining proficiency in static guard post duties and executing security support as directed by SpaceX leadership. You will conduct roving patrols of assigned locations and provide mobile security support as needed. Your responsibilities will also include conducting and reviewing risk assessments of critical facilities, responding to emergency situations, and providing on-scene leadership. You will develop and refine emergency response protocols based on data and experience, ensuring that all security measures are effective and up to date. Additionally, you will plan and coordinate domestic flight security, ensuring the safety of personnel and operations.
