Who you are
You have 8+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, or advanced corporate security, demonstrating a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-tech environment. Your background includes executive protection and mobile asset security, showcasing your capability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and expertise.
You possess a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, and your experience has equipped you with the skills necessary to maintain proficiency in static guard post duties. You are adept at conducting advanced security training for fellow officers, ensuring that your team is well-prepared for any situation.
Your analytical skills allow you to conduct thorough research and risk assessments of critical facilities, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective security measures. You are comfortable responding to emergency situations, providing on-scene leadership, and coordinating with law enforcement and community leaders.
What you'll do
As a Security Officer 3 at SpaceX, you will patrol the companyβs properties both on foot and via vehicle, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as company regulations. You will plan and conduct advanced security training for all security officers, fostering a culture of safety and preparedness.
You will conduct and review risk assessments of critical SpaceX facilities, identifying potential threats and developing strategies to mitigate them. In emergency situations, you will take charge, providing leadership and guidance to your team and ensuring a swift and effective response.
Your role will also involve planning and coordinating domestic flight hardware transportation operations, ensuring that all logistics are handled securely and efficiently. You will learn advanced skillsets, including EMT, investigations, surveillance, and VIP escort, enhancing your capabilities as a security professional.
