Overview
SpaceX is hiring a Senior Global Trade Analyst to support their global trade compliance team on various programs including Falcon and Starship. You'll work closely with legal and compliance professionals to manage export control matters.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in legal compliance, particularly in global trade and export control. Your background includes working with ITAR and EAR regulations, and you have a strong understanding of U.S. export laws. You are adept at identifying compliance gaps and developing strategies to mitigate risks. Your communication skills allow you to effectively educate and advise internal stakeholders on complex legal matters.
What you'll do
As a Senior Global Trade Analyst at SpaceX, you will draft, submit, and manage compliance with ITAR licenses and agreements, as well as EAR licenses and exceptions. You will proactively identify and qualify export risks, compliance gaps, and emerging issues, designing and recommending mitigation strategies and business solutions. Conducting technical data reviews related to U.S. export laws will be a key part of your role, along with supporting jurisdiction and classification exercises. You will manage compliance procedures and implement improvements while advising internal stakeholders on export policies and procedures.
