Who you are

You have hands-on trade flow support experience and are proficient in Linux OS — your background includes working with Bash and a scripting language such as Python or Perl, which you use to automate processes and improve workflows. You possess detailed practical knowledge of FIX and ideally have familiarity with native exchange protocols. Your experience in SQL, particularly with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MS SQL, allows you to manage data effectively. You also have a working knowledge of TCP/IP, multicast, tcpdump, and clock synchronization protocols like PTP and NTP, which enhances your ability to troubleshoot network issues. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems, bringing a proactive attitude to your work. Strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to interact effectively with various stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the global trading platform's readiness, ensuring both pre-trading and post-trading processes are seamless. You will provide monitoring and support for the end-to-end transaction flow across the trading platform, quickly identifying, analyzing, and correcting alerts and issues to minimize trade flow impact and preempt outages. Incident management is a key part of your responsibilities, where you will create and send reports following established processes. You will interact intensively with the trading community, back office operations, brokers, exchanges, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations. Supporting scheduled changes, including application deployments, network implementations, and server maintenance, will also be part of your duties. You will oversee automated processes, scheduled jobs, and regular reports, managing user requests by tracking them, reviewing approvals, and ensuring timely resolution and closure. Additionally, you will identify inefficiencies such as repetitive activities and manual processes, driving continuous improvements through automation and collaboration with internal and external teams.
