What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Platform team within Acuity Scheduling, focusing on the core infrastructure and foundational services that power the product. You will manage and mentor a team of experienced software engineers, conducting regular 1:1s and providing direct feedback to support their growth. You will collaborate closely with product managers to prioritize new features and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

You will advocate for best practices in system design and engineering processes, promoting a culture of excellence within your team. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project initiatives, providing technical guidance, and ensuring that your team adheres to high standards of quality and performance. You will also play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the team, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and efficiency in the development process.
