Your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows you to effectively manage and promote changes in production environments. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Technical Leads and QA to ensure quality and performance are prioritized in the promotion process.

With a deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, you are well-equipped to handle the complexities of a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Your background in Linux systems administration complements your software engineering skills, enabling you to troubleshoot and optimize production systems effectively. You are comfortable with on-call responsibilities and are committed to continuous improvement in production reliability.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the Site Reliability Engineering team, focusing on the promotion of changes into production across the platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the promotion process, ensuring that operational readiness is built into every deployment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day engineering tasks, participating in on-call rotations, and driving initiatives for continuous improvement in system reliability and observability.

You will play a key role in defining and implementing best practices for incident management and response, ensuring that the team is prepared to handle production issues effectively. Your strategic vision will help guide the organization in raising its operational maturity, while your hands-on involvement will ensure that you remain connected to the technical aspects of the role. You will also mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
