Desirable

Experience with accounting policy documentation and a strong understanding of US GAAP will set you apart. What you'll do

In this role, you will assess, research, analyze, and document accounting policy considerations for Stripe transactions. You will work cross-functionally within the Accounting organization to ensure that our policies align with US GAAP. Your responsibilities will include evaluating accounting issues, particularly those related to revenue recognition and financial instruments. You will also be tasked with maintaining accounting policy documentation, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflective of current practices. Your expertise will guide the organization in making informed accounting policy elections, ultimately supporting Stripe's mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
