Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting with a focus on GAAP and SEC regulations — your expertise in ASC 606 and other revenue standards sets you apart as a subject matter expert. You are detail-oriented and self-motivated, thriving in collaborative environments where you can partner with cross-functional teams. Your experience includes performing reviews of significant contracts and maintaining global accounting policies, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. You are a team player who enjoys responding to technical accounting inquiries and preparing accounting memorandums for non-standard revenue transactions.
Desirable
Experience with SEC reporting and financial statement preparation is a plus — you understand the intricacies of 10Q and 10K filings and can support the SEC reporting team effectively. You are comfortable leading special projects and reviewing accounting memos prepared by global teams, ensuring they align with company policies and standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will perform first-level reviews of significant contract reviews prepared by the revenue accounting teams, serving as a subject matter expert. You will maintain and update global accounting policies over revenue, including the adoption of new accounting standards in accordance with US GAAP. Collaborating with key stakeholders in the revenue process, you will respond to technical accounting inquiries and prepare accounting memorandums for non-standard revenue transactions. You will also support the SEC reporting team in the preparation and review of financial statements and footnote schedules needed to support 10Q and 10K filings. Additionally, you will take on special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the accounting policy team.
What we offer
Unity provides a dynamic work environment where you can make a difference. You will be part of a fast-growing team that is redefining development and solving hard problems. The company values inclusion, driven by empathy, respect, and opportunity. You will have the chance to work on impactful projects that enable the success of the community. The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $145,000 USD annually, reflecting the importance of this role within the organization.
