Who you are
You have extensive experience in operational leadership within the banking or financial services sector, particularly in roles that require a deep understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory compliance. Your background includes overseeing complex operational functions, ensuring adherence to safety and soundness expectations, and maintaining high standards of documentation and operational discipline.
You possess strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with auditors, federal regulators, and cross-functional teams. Your experience with blockchain-based transaction flows and digital asset custody is a significant asset, as is your ability to design and implement operational playbooks and control frameworks.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead all day-to-day operational functions for the trust bank, including issuance operations, custody operations, reserve operations, reconciliation, and customer settlement flows. You will design and maintain operational playbooks and business continuity procedures aligned with OCC safety and soundness expectations. Additionally, you will oversee operational readiness for product changes and new asset types, ensuring that workflows are prepared in collaboration with engineering teams.
As the Deputy Trust Officer, you will support the Trust Officer in fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities for custody and safekeeping activities. This includes overseeing fiduciary recordkeeping, ensuring compliance with OCC fiduciary standards, and acting as the Trust Officer when designated by the President or Board. You will implement and maintain OCC-aligned internal control systems across all operational areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and digital asset custody expectations.
