Desirable

Experience in payments, e-commerce, or fintech is preferred, as well as a background in building and scaling new teams. Familiarity with high-growth technology companies will be advantageous in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of Verification Risk Operations Associates, focusing on managing higher-tier support and internal escalations. You will assess onboarding possibilities from a verification and compliance perspective, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that processes are efficient and effective. Your leadership will guide your team in handling complex support cases, empowering them to solve problems and achieve their goals. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for your team, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected by Stripe and its users. You will also play a crucial role in fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within your team, celebrating successes and learning from challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively will be key in liaising with various departments and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on objectives and processes.
