You are an experienced and visionary leader with a proven track record in development initiatives, particularly in design, construction, and facilities management. Your strategic thinking and expertise in real estate enable you to evaluate potential locations and negotiate real estate transactions effectively. You have a strong understanding of market analysis and business requirements, allowing you to make informed decisions that align with the company's objectives.
You possess exceptional leadership skills, guiding design and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Your collaborative approach with architects, contractors, and stakeholders ensures high-quality facilities that meet brand standards. You are committed to implementing sustainable and innovative design practices that enhance the overall customer experience.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy that aligns with sweetgreen's overall objectives. You will oversee site selection processes, evaluating potential locations nationally and internationally based on market analysis. Your responsibilities will include negotiating leases and purchase agreements while managing the real estate portfolio to optimize space utilization.
You will lead the design and construction teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will implement innovative design practices that reflect the company's commitment to sustainability. Additionally, you will develop strategies for expanding the company's store network, analyzing market trends and consumer behavior to inform store development decisions.
