Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in data analysis and customer insights, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You excel at turning complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across marketing, product, and customer experience teams. Your leadership skills enable you to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment on customer strategies. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. You are excited about building new functions and improving existing processes to enhance customer understanding and engagement. You have a knack for storytelling with data, translating findings into compelling presentations for executive-level stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the insights strategy for sweetgreen, focusing on customer behavior, menu opportunities, and loyalty program performance. You will collaborate closely with the Data Science and Analytics Team to expand the capabilities of customer insights and develop an AI-driven insights toolkit. Your responsibilities will include delivering insights that inform marketing and brand decisions, as well as developing research practices that improve visibility into customer needs. You will work cross-functionally with teams in marketing, product, engineering, and finance to present a holistic view of customer insights and drive faster decision-making processes. You will also be responsible for identifying cultural and competitive trends that can inform sweetgreen's strategies and initiatives.
