Overview
Tailor is seeking a Product Manager to lead product development and integration of technology, UX, and business strategies. You'll work on the Tailor Platform, a headless ERP solution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires experience in product development and strong communication skills.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience driving product development and possess the skills to prioritize effectively — you understand the nuances of integrating technology, user experience, and business needs to create impactful products. Your communication skills enable you to engage stakeholders and drive collaboration across teams, ensuring everyone is aligned towards common goals.
You are familiar with software engineering principles and have a background in B2B software development — your experience may include leading new business initiatives or projects, and you understand the importance of agile methodologies in product management. You are comfortable navigating the complexities of microservices architecture and can effectively manage product requirements in a dynamic environment.
What you'll do
As a Product Manager at Tailor, you will act as the 'CEO of the product' — overseeing the planning, development, and operation of our Tailor Platform. You will collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, Tech Leads, engineers, and UX designers to define product requirements and drive the development process. Your role will involve anticipating potential risks and proactively addressing challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
You will establish a cycle of continuous improvement by planning, developing, releasing, and learning from customer feedback — this iterative process will help you refine the product and enhance its value to users. You will also work on improving organizational processes and product management practices to foster a culture of innovation and responsiveness.
What we offer
At Tailor, we provide a flexible working environment with a focus on results rather than hours worked. You will have the opportunity to work remotely while being part of a mission-driven team that aims to democratize product creation. We offer competitive compensation based on your role and contributions, with regular evaluations to ensure your growth aligns with the company's objectives. Additionally, we support your professional development through resources for learning and attending conferences.
