Overview
Tailor is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive product delivery across their innovative Headless ERP platform. You'll coordinate between teams across multiple time zones and help shape the company's async-first culture. Experience in ecommerce or enterprise software is a plus.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product management, ideally with experience in ecommerce, operations, or enterprise software domains. You understand the importance of quality in product development, even if you don't write code yourself. Your ability to work asynchronously across time zones is crucial, as you'll need to coordinate effectively with teams in Australia, Japan, and the United States. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and can negotiate effectively to ensure that product delivery stays on track. Your experience in driving alignment across diverse teams will be invaluable as Tailor continues to grow.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the management and coordination layer between the Omakase team and Forward Deployed teams. You will be responsible for shaping requirements and ensuring that work streams move forward with clarity and purpose. As Tailor transitions to a more asynchronous work culture, you will help set the standard for how distributed teams communicate and collaborate. You will write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and run essential rituals that keep the team aligned and focused. Your role will evolve as Tailor's operations grow, potentially leading others who manage customer delivery locally.
What we offer
Tailor is a Y-Combinator backed startup that has recently closed a $37M USD Series A funding round. You will be part of a pioneering team that is transforming the way businesses manage their internal workflows with Headless ERP technology. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us in building a product that scales from first principles and helps businesses adapt to their unique needs.
