Your deep knowledge of AWS and Python allows you to design, build, and ship high-leverage backend components effectively. You have experience with operational guardrails that ensure systems can scale to meet the demands of millions of daily decisions.

Desirable

Experience with integration engines and aggregation/orchestration layers is a plus. Familiarity with financial services and automated decision-making systems will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement backend components that are crucial for Taktile's Data Marketplace. You will lead projects that involve API discovery and integration, ensuring that provider onboarding and evaluation processes are streamlined. Your work will directly impact how banks and fintechs fight fraud and expand credit.

You will set integration architecture and standards, defining clear API contracts and SDKs while implementing resilience patterns such as idempotency and retries. Your leadership will help raise the technical bar within the team, and you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and conducting deep code reviews.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems you build meet the needs of customers and stakeholders. Your contributions will help Taktile maintain its position as a market leader in automated decisioning.
