Overview

Tanium is hiring a Director of Strategic Accounts to drive enterprise software sales within the public sector. You'll engage with C-suite executives and manage complex sales cycles. This role requires significant experience in enterprise software sales.

Job Description

Who you are

You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the biggest customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your strong team mentality means you understand that selling is a team sport, and you excel at managing and utilizing virtual resources to tackle large sales cycles. You have a proven track record of exceeding quotas and driving superior customer experiences.

What you'll do

As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory is key, as you will present the value of the Tanium platform to the C-suite. You will work closely with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring healthy pipeline management through appropriate sales development activities. You will also conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads and maintain excellent SFDC hygiene for accurate forecasting. Travel may be required as needed.
