Tanium is hiring a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise software sales in the Mid-Market Bay Area. You'll be responsible for generating opportunities and managing complex sales cycles. This role requires significant experience in enterprise software sales.
Job Description
Who you are
You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with major customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your strong team mentality means you understand that selling is a team sport, and you excel at managing and utilizing virtual resources to tackle large sales cycles. You have a proven track record of exceeding quotas and delivering superior customer experiences.
What you'll do
As a Director of Strategic Accounts at Tanium, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory will be key, as you present the value of the Tanium platform to the C-suite. You will work closely with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring healthy pipeline management through appropriate sales development activities. Accurately forecasting and maintaining excellent SFDC hygiene will be part of your responsibilities, along with conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads. Travel may be required as needed.
