Who you are
You have a strong background in machine learning and natural language processing, with a focus on healthcare applications. Your experience includes developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly in the context of clinical data. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, enabling you to build and optimize complex models effectively.
You are passionate about leveraging AI to improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes. Your understanding of unstructured clinical notes and structured electronic health record (EHR) data allows you to extract valuable insights that can drive better treatment decisions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to advance medical research.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop innovative natural language processing models and LLM agents tailored for precision medicine. Your responsibilities will include researching, developing, training, testing, deploying, monitoring, and improving machine learning models for various tasks such as information extraction, relation extraction, information retrieval, question answering, text classification, summarization, and clinical prediction. You will work closely with unstructured clinical notes and reports, structured EHR data, imaging data, and molecular sequencing data to create impactful solutions.
You will contribute to optimizing clinical workflows and improving clinical trial matching, ensuring that the right treatments are delivered to the right patients at the right time. Your work will play a crucial role in advancing the healthcare industry and making a significant impact on people's lives. You will also be responsible for adhering to legal and ethical standards while handling sensitive information, including intellectual property and protected health information.
