Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including legal and engineering teams, is crucial in managing expectations and delivering on product timelines.

You are passionate about improving patient care through technology β€” your knowledge of healthcare regulations and security standards allows you to navigate complex compliance requirements effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with scientists, engineers, and designers to develop elegant software solutions that address tough problems in the healthcare sector. Your expertise in user authentication, authorization, and logging libraries will be instrumental in advancing Tempus' security systems.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager, you will immerse yourself in the challenges faced by Tempus and lead product development efforts for security systems β€” your role involves owning the strategy and roadmap for security-focused systems and services used across the Tempus ecosystem. You will coordinate with various teams within the Engineering organization to ensure that security-related development aligns with the overall product vision. Your responsibilities will include managing stakeholder communication and expectation management around product delivery timelines, particularly with senior legal and application teams.

You will also be responsible for advancing the β€œpaved road” systems and services that enhance security and compliance across the organization β€” this includes developing user authentication and authorization frameworks that are robust and user-friendly. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security practices are integrated seamlessly into the product development lifecycle, ultimately contributing to the improvement of patient care through secure and trustworthy systems.
