You have a solid understanding of avionics and hardware interfaces, allowing you to effectively manage requirements and ensure seamless integration between software and hardware components. Your analytical skills enable you to perform technical trade-offs and budget calculations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in your work.

What you'll do

In your role as an In-Orbit Services Flight Software System Engineer, you will take ownership of work packages related to flight software development. You will define high-level requirements and manage the technical baselines to ensure that the design meets project needs. You will collaborate with the In-Orbit Services team to develop software architectures and conceptual designs, performing necessary trade-offs to optimize performance.

Your responsibilities will include developing low-level software components, such as operating systems and communication protocols, as well as high-level applications and control algorithms. You will create implementation, verification, and validation plans to ensure the software meets all requirements. You will also be responsible for managing interfaces and requirements towards avionics and other hardware sections, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly.
