Who you are

You are a skilled engineer with a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS Serverless. You thrive on solving complex technical challenges and enjoy writing excellent code every day. Your experience includes working with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, and you have a solid understanding of cloud architecture and serverless patterns. You are proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to unblock yourself and your teammates, and you communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, or equivalent work experience. Your programming skills in Node.js and TypeScript are strong, and you are familiar with infrastructure as code tools like CDK and Terraform. You are eager to learn from your peers and continuously improve your technical skills, embracing challenges outside of your comfort zone.

What you'll do

As a Cloud Engineer at Theodo, you will be part of a high-performing team working on real-world client projects. Your primary mission will be to build and maintain applications using AWS Serverless technologies. You will collaborate closely with clients, engaging in both technical and business-focused conversations to ensure project success. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient code and implementing best practices in cloud architecture.

You will also have the opportunity to explore different technologies and ways of working, gaining valuable experience in a variety of environments. Your responsibilities will include designing serverless applications, optimizing cloud resources, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of the solutions you build. You will participate in code reviews, share knowledge with your teammates, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
