Who you are
You have a strong background in product design, with at least 5 years of experience leading design teams and projects. Your expertise in user experience design allows you to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that meet the needs of small and medium enterprises. You are skilled in using design tools like Figma and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of the user experience is polished and effective.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design strategies with business goals. Your ability to communicate design concepts clearly and persuasively helps you advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization. You are passionate about understanding user needs and translating them into actionable design solutions that drive product success.
What you'll do
As the Product Design Manager at Tide, you will lead the design efforts for our core business management platform products, focusing on areas such as expense management, accounting, and payroll. You will be responsible for evolving the end-to-end user experiences, ensuring they are not only functional but also delightful to use. Your leadership will guide a team of designers as they create innovative solutions that enhance the value we provide to our SME customers.
You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions, iterating on designs based on feedback and data. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that design considerations are integrated into the product development process from the outset.
