Your expertise extends to Python and other programming languages relevant to AI development, allowing you to contribute to both infrastructure and application layers. You understand the intricacies of managing hardware resources, including GPUs, and have experience with IaaS solutions that support machine learning workloads. You are passionate about creating robust observability stacks and automated lifecycle management for cloud services.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain a global AI cloud infrastructure that supports both internal and external customers. You will be responsible for automating hardware management processes, including Infiniband partitioning and VM provisioning, to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization. Your work will involve creating the IaaS software layer for new data centers equipped with thousands of GPUs, enabling high-performance object storage for massive datasets.

You will collaborate with other engineers to develop self-serve AI cloud services, such as managed Kubernetes and Slurm clusters, that empower machine learning practitioners. Your contributions will include building advanced observability stacks that provide insights into system performance and reliability, ensuring that our cloud services meet the highest standards of availability and security.

Additionally, you will engage in architecture and research work focused on decentralized AI workloads, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the AI cloud space. You will also create comprehensive documentation and testing frameworks to ensure the robustness of the services you develop, fostering a culture of quality and excellence within the team.
