Overview
Trendyol is seeking a Data Scientist to lead the development of intelligent, data-driven solutions for their LLM & Core NLP team. You'll leverage your expertise in Python and PyTorch to create sophisticated AI architectures. This role requires a strong background in data science and machine learning.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data science, particularly in working with large language models and natural language processing. Your experience includes developing intelligent solutions that bridge the gap between academic research and practical business applications. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with PyTorch, enabling you to tackle complex data challenges effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and product teams to translate complex data into actionable strategies. Your ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key strength, allowing you to champion a data-driven culture within the organization.
You are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create impactful solutions. Your curiosity drives you to explore new methodologies and frameworks, ensuring that you stay at the forefront of advancements in AI and machine learning.
Desirable
Experience with retrieval-augmented generation systems or autonomous agentic AI is a plus. Familiarity with additional machine learning frameworks or tools will enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
As a key member of the LLM & Core NLP team at Trendyol, you will spearhead the development of innovative AI solutions that enhance the customer experience across our platforms. Your role will involve designing sophisticated architectures that utilize the latest advancements in machine learning and natural language processing.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements. This includes working on projects that involve search optimization, recommendation systems, and content moderation, ensuring that our solutions are both effective and scalable.
Your responsibilities will also include conducting experiments to validate your models and approaches, iterating on designs based on feedback and performance metrics. You will be expected to stay updated on the latest research in AI and machine learning, applying relevant findings to improve our systems continuously.
In addition to technical development, you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization. You will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
