Who you are
You are someone who thrives in a community-focused environment and enjoys engaging with people face-to-face. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be the local face of Ting, walking through neighborhoods and connecting with homeowners to educate them about the benefits of Ting's ultra-fast fiber internet. You are motivated by performance and eager to learn, ready to embrace the challenges of a commission-based sales role. You understand the importance of building trust and rapport with potential customers, and you are excited about the opportunity to make a difference in their lives through better internet access.
You are adaptable and open to feedback, willing to participate in the Fast Start Training Program designed to help you ramp up your sales skills while earning incentives. You are comfortable with door-to-door sales and have a proactive approach to reaching out to potential customers. You believe in the value of the product you are selling and are passionate about helping others understand how it can improve their lives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for walking and selling within local neighborhoods, engaging with residents to educate them about Ting's fiber internet services. You will track your progress and performance as you work towards closing deals and achieving sales milestones. Your success will be supported by the Fast Start Training Program, which provides you with the tools and resources needed to excel in your role. You will have the opportunity to earn commissions on top of your training compensation, rewarding your efforts as you build your sales skills and customer base.
You will be expected to actively participate in community events and outreach efforts to promote Ting's services, helping to establish a strong presence in the neighborhoods you serve. As you gain experience, you will refine your sales techniques and develop a deeper understanding of customer needs, allowing you to tailor your approach effectively. Your role will not only involve selling but also building lasting relationships with customers, ensuring they have a positive experience with Ting.
