Who you are
You have a strong background in program management, particularly in the aerospace sector, with experience overseeing complex subcontracts. Your ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage supplier relationships is key to your success in this role. You understand the importance of delivering on cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process.
You possess excellent negotiation skills, allowing you to lead subcontract negotiations effectively. You are adept at developing procurement and execution plans that proactively address risks and align with business objectives. Your experience in interfacing with various departments, including Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance, ensures that subcontract structures are robust and support the company's risk posture.
What you'll do
As the Subcontract Program Manager, you will own the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned subcontracts. You will serve as the primary interface with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams to ensure that subcontractor deliverables meet program requirements. Your role will involve leading subcontract negotiations, ensuring that terms, pricing, performance expectations, and delivery commitments are clearly defined and agreed upon.
You will develop and execute procurement and subcontract execution plans that address potential risks and support contract deliverables. Additionally, you will lead and support internal and customer-facing milestone reviews, ensuring that all parties are prepared and aligned for key project milestones.
