Who you are
You have a strong background in program management and finance, with experience in tracking and managing budgets, costs, and schedules from project initiation through completion. You understand the importance of aligning program metrics and forecasts across various teams, including PMO, Finance, and Supply Chain. Your analytical skills allow you to monitor and reconcile actual costs versus planned forecasts, providing timely updates and variance analysis. You are proficient in developing and maintaining program dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or advanced Excel, including macros, to deliver performance metrics effectively.
You excel at supporting forecasting of labor and material requirements in collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain team members. Your attention to detail ensures timely tracking of labor hours and material deliveries, and you are proactive in escalating issues to prevent delays. You provide data-driven insights that alleviate workload on Program Managers, enabling them to focus on strategic execution. You are adept at identifying and addressing gaps in program tracking to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
What you'll do
As a Program Controller at Turion Space, you will serve as the primary interface between the PMO, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring alignment on program metrics and forecasts. You will track and manage program budgets, costs, and schedules, ensuring adherence to EAC targets throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve monitoring and reconciling actual costs against planned forecasts, providing timely updates and variance analysis to stakeholders. You will develop and maintain program dashboards and reports, utilizing tools like Power BI and advanced Excel to deliver weekly and monthly performance metrics.
You will support the forecasting of labor and material requirements in collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain team members, ensuring that all necessary resources are accounted for. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely tracking of labor hours and material deliveries, escalating issues as needed to prevent delays. You will generate and present performance reports, providing insights that help Program Managers focus on strategic execution. Your ability to identify and address gaps in program tracking will be crucial in ensuring that all aspects of the program are monitored effectively.
