Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly in managing complex negotiations and building relationships with small to medium-sized businesses. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess potential partners effectively, ensuring that you can balance quality and volume in competitive markets. You thrive in field-based roles and are willing to travel as needed to meet clients and close deals.

You are disciplined and strategic in your approach to sales, focusing on building a high-quality funnel that consistently meets targets. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to independently design and execute a funnel construction plan, allowing you to close approximately 20 restaurant partnerships each month. You understand the importance of maintaining a healthy stage distribution in your sales process, ensuring that deals progress smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding Uber Eats' restaurant selection by acquiring high-quality SMB partners. You will manage the entire sales funnel, from prospecting and qualification to pitching and negotiation. Your ability to identify high-potential restaurants will be crucial as you navigate complex and competitive geographies. You will lead multi-step negotiations that balance unit economics and merchant expectations, ensuring long-term value for both Uber and its partners.

You will also be tasked with maintaining engagement with merchants from day one, ensuring they activate successfully and remain engaged with the platform. Your role will involve analyzing geo insights, competitive dynamics, and operational readiness to prioritize and source potential restaurant partners effectively. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that your strategies align with Uber's overall goals and objectives.
