What you'll do
In this role, you will own the full end-to-end acquisition cycle for Japan's highest-priority local restaurant partners. This includes everything from the initial contact to activation and ongoing support as they grow on the platform. You will develop strong merchant relationships by understanding their unique business challenges and aligning Uber Eats' offerings with their goals.
You will manage a defined city-level territory, such as Tokyo or Osaka, with a strategic lens. Your responsibilities will include identifying high-potential restaurants, pitching Uber Eats' value proposition, and onboarding new partners to enhance the quality and variety of food options available on the platform. You will work closely with your team to ensure that the onboarding process is smooth and that restaurant partners receive the support they need to thrive.
Your role will also involve analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform your acquisition strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the needs of restaurant partners are met and that they are satisfied with their experience on the platform. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall growth of Uber Eats in Japan.
