Uber is hiring an Account Representative to expand partnerships with merchants for Uber Eats. You'll leverage your sales skills to negotiate contracts and build strong relationships. This role requires at least 1 year of experience in sales or account management.

Who you are

You have at least 1 year of experience in sales, operations, account management, or similar functions β€” you've demonstrated your ability to build relationships and drive results in a competitive environment. You are a natural at selling and have a passion for food and Uber, which helps you connect with potential partners effectively. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to establish sustainable partnerships that benefit both Uber and the merchants you work with.

You enjoy communicating with prospects through various channels, including email, phone, and face-to-face meetings β€” you understand the importance of maintaining open lines of communication to foster strong relationships. You are proactive in identifying opportunities and best practices that can enhance the partnership process, ensuring that both Uber and its merchants thrive.

What you'll do

In this role, you will leverage your prospecting skills to build partnerships with merchants in your geographic region β€” your primary focus will be on bringing in new small-and-medium sized merchants that align with Uber Eats' partnership criteria. You will manage contract negotiations, establishing a strong foundation for successful working relationships. Achieving and consistently exceeding monthly targets will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you work to expand Uber Eats' merchant network.

You will partner closely with Operations and Account Managers to ensure a smooth activation process for the best merchants β€” your role will involve collaborating with various teams to streamline internal processes and drive success. As an ambassador of Uber Eats' mission, brand, and product, you will clearly communicate the value of Uber and its newest offerings to prospects, helping them understand how partnering with Uber can benefit their business.
