What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for executing projects that ensure Uber's platform is secure and that users are authenticated and unique. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and causal inference, to identify platform fraud and develop anti-fraud strategies. Your ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights will be crucial in shaping product and fraud action strategies.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define metrics and drive the development of reporting functions that measure the performance of identity fraud products. Additionally, you will provide technical mentorship and thought leadership, raising the bar for scientific rigor and championing best practices in statistical and machine learning.
