You have extensive experience in operations management, ideally within a tech or mobility context — you've successfully led teams and driven strategic initiatives that enhance marketplace performance. Your analytical mindset allows you to uncover insights from data, translating them into actionable strategies that align with broader business goals. You possess a builder's mindset, demonstrating the ability to create scalable tools and processes that improve operational efficiency. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, ensuring that your team is engaged and aligned with the company's vision. You are comfortable navigating complex challenges and thrive in high-visibility roles that require strong communication and influence across various stakeholders.

What you'll do

As the Head of Marketplace Operations, you will set a clear vision and roadmap for the Marketplace, guiding your team's long-term direction. You will translate Uber's broader goals into an actionable operational strategy with clear objectives, ensuring that marketplace performance is optimized for both riders and drivers. Your role will involve partnering with tech teams to design and implement scalable solutions that enhance the user experience. You will lead the KPIs that define marketplace performance, including pricing, health, reliability, incentives, surge strategy, matching, and fares. Your insights into rider and earner behavior will shape the regional marketplace strategy, driving growth and efficiency. You will also collaborate closely with the US Core GM business and the broader US&C Mobility Leadership team, acting as a thought partner to influence product strategy and operational excellence.
